About Maxim Iodice: A Passionate Storyteller and Film Visualizer

Name: Maxim Iodice
Date of Birth: October 24, 2003
Education: B.S. in Television and Film Production, St. John’s University (2025)

Introduction

I’m Maxim Iodice, an award-winning filmmaker and content strategist based in Manhattan. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Television and Film Production from St. John’s University, where I graduated with a 3.97 GPA. My skill set spans the full production pipeline, from concept development and directing to editing and post-production, with deep proficiency in AVID, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.

Professional Experience

My career has taken me across a range of production environments. As Head Videographer at Comp Ai, I led end-to-end video production for a fast-paced tech company. At Wine Enthusiast, I produced editorial and branded video content, and at Grand River Solutions, I managed production crews of 10-15 people for compliance and training media. I’ve also built a freelance practice in social media content strategy, working with clients across wellness, food, and nonprofit verticals to develop high-volume, platform-native content.

I currently serve as an Advisory Board Member for Piqstar, a public benefit corporation operating the Exposure Plus TV streaming platform, where I contribute to content strategy and media distribution initiatives.

Recognition

My work has been recognized with the Best Emerging Filmmaker award at the International Motion Picture Awards, a milestone that affirmed my commitment to creating visual media that resonates and provokes thought.

Early Years

I was born in Volgograd, Russia, and spent my early years in an orphanage until the age of two, when I was adopted and brought to the United States. My love for filmmaking was sparked by watching films and television with my father. His passing in March 2016 was a defining moment that shaped my character, instilling resilience, work ethic, and a drive to tell stories that matter.

Future Outlook

I’m driven by the potential of media to shift perspectives and educate. My interests in history, geopolitics, and emerging technology inform the content I create, and I’m always looking for opportunities to produce work that bridges gaps in knowledge and contributes to a more informed world. I’m particularly drawn to roles where I can combine filmmaking craft with content strategy at scale.
